While I agree that “borrowing” my wife’s eyes sometimes is best, I still occasionally use the Light Detector app especially if I am the last one leaving my retail store. Occasionally my staff will leave some lights on and while many of them are florescent tubes which I can usually hear whether they are on, I upgraded the downstairs lights last year entirely to LED fixtures and those things are absolutely quiet as in 0 noise so here the light detector app comes in handy especially on those switches where you can turn on a light on more than one switch where the fact whether a switch is down may not mean the light is off.
