Just to add to that thread even though it's not directly related other than
we are talking about sending mail from an iOS device, Hover seems to be
getting the best reviews as far as domain hosting and so on. Of course it's
a Canadian company so it's only to be expected *smile*. But seriously, I
have switched all my domains to Hover, you get live technical support within
seconds, you typically aren't even on hold and it's both very inexpensive
and the customer service is outstanding. I don't know that much about how to
manage all that domain stuff although the website is as far as I can tell
fully accessible, but anytime I wanted to do something and when I told them
I was visually impaired hence sometimes it's easier to have things done
quicker by them they always were super helpful and did it. Rob from Today in
iOS as well as Leo Laport and Paul Thoratt all recommend them very highly,
of course they are sponsored by them, but that doesn't mean it's not true
that they are doing an excellent job, they don't bombard you with
advertising and they aren't giving you some basic features and then try to
upsell you for everything else which I heard many others do.

Sieghard

That is why I changed my hosting to IX Web Hosting several years ago.
Godaddy does some very odd things and sending issues is only one of them.
You probably need some strange setting. Have you called their "Customer
Support?"
That is the only thing I can think of doing.

This is not a new issue with IOS 6. I do not recall how far back it has
occurred.

I have an address through GoDaddy, where the domain is hosted. When I try
sending a message from this address, I get the following error:

Cannot send mail
A copy has been placed in your outbox. The recipient "[email protected]" was
rejected by the server.

Can anyone suggest what is going on and a fix?

All thanks!

Eric
