Hello: When I use the rainbow Ii color identifier, I need to move it around the clothing item if it’s multi colored. It will identify each color in the pattern. I don’t find it much different than the Cobal speech master except for the smaller size of the Rainbow II. It performs just as well as other identifiers. Hope that helps. Louise
