Hi Kathy, That’s a good one and I can confirm that if I turn screen rotation off and then when the DialPad is on the screen put the phone in landscape mode the DialPad works. However, it has to be in landscape, in portrait mode it’s still just reading out all the numbers, star and pound symbol and that’s it. I turned it so the home button was on the right and the DialPad then took up the right side of the screen closest to the home bbutton. Not an ideal work-around if you usually have your rotation locked but if you only make a call from time to time where this is needed then it’s not so bad.
I also wish Skype would allow for calls via SIRI, this used to work when iOS 10 was first released. In fact, I remember that for a while when you double tapped on a Contact and had their phone numbers and all that it was an option to make a call via Skype. I can still tell SIRI to call so and so using Whats App and as long as that person is in my Whats App contacts it will work just fine, but Microsoft at some point quietly removed this feature and so far has never put it back unless Apple isn’t allowing them to do this for some reason. But if they allow Whats App to do it then I can’t see why they wouldn’t let Skype do it.
