I use Google Maps most days, but on an iPhone 6s with the latest iOS and never had this issue. Richard

About ten days after updating Google Maps to its latest iOS version, 4.43, I began having difficulty activating the "Start" button after entering a route. Previously, I could flick to the button and activate it, but now, I have to place my finger on the button and double-tap it, and even then, sometimes the button does not activate. Has anyone else noticed this odd behavior? I know this scenario doesn't make sense because the problem did not occur immediately when I updated the app but rather several days later. All other apps and iPhone operations are working as they were before I noticed this problem. I am using an iPhone 5 with iOS 10.3.3. Thanks for all help.
