Hey Richard, Thanks for giving it a shot. I wasn't able to replicate the issue that you found with the updated version. Just to be clear, double tapping on the live text mode starts it and you should be able to hear a sound when it starts. Double tapping on the button again would make it stop.
I will try this out on a iPhone 6s myself and get back to you if there are any issues that I notice.
