I have googled it and those are the instructions I used.
I am mostly using the version of Outlook Express that works with Windows 7,
but I can also use Outlook 2010.

upon your particular Windows configuration. For example, are you using
Outlook?
Regardless, it sounds to me as though you first need to delete your
current setup profile and start from scratch.
As an F.Y.I., one of the easiest setup configurations is to use the iCloud
Control Panel.
Again, there are several variables that one need take into consideration.

I set up my ICloud E-mail on my Windows computer, but it will not let me
change the pop3 field to Imap.
It allowed me to enter all of the data correctly, but in the area that
says this is a pop3 server, I cannot change pop3 to imap, even though the
next field has the imap information entered.
I am using Windows 7 and I'm wondering if that isn't the problem.
Any suggestions?
