I would definitely look at the Apple Store option and advise against buying an SE now. The SE has the same processor as the 6S/6S Plus even though it came out in the spring of 2016 and the 6S/6S Plus came out in the Fall of 2015. Don't get me wrong, I have a 6S Plus and really like the phone and plan to get the battery replaced in it at some point this year, but if I were in the market for a new phone I certainly wouldn't buy one that is 2 generations behind the current phones especially since in another month or so we are already half way to towards when the 2018 phones will come out. One never knows, Apple might even release another smaller phone again in April maybe with iPhone 7 technology.

I was afraid you'd say what why help her she's back in the dark ages! Yeah I've been leaning towards an SE but I wasn't quite sure what the specs were yet. I will at some point go down to the Apple store but it's a bit of an ordeal. I suppose it's an ordeal worth subjecting myself to.
