A mouse mat!.... I just knew there was a simple solution, so glad to see we have more that can, and do, think outside the box. The ever more generous try before you keep deals is getting more wide spread and more generous; up to around a month in the UK, though not consistent across the board. Key detail is - it goes back in as good a condition as you bought it, including all packaging in equally pristine condition. I was going to say - they can't sell it as new otherwise - but they can't and don't sell it as new once it's been used anyway. So they'll end up in the bargain section at the end of the season as shop soiled or demo models or whatever.
RobH, enjoys this with instruments - not wind instruments though!. ----- Original Message ----- From: "M. I really do enjoy a good technology discussion. Second, today I went to my local Apple Store and purchased the space gray HomePod. What I found interesting is that, at this location, anyway, they were really pushing the device. In fact, the sale rep stated several times, "Well, buy it and if you don't like it, just bring it back." I was a bit surprised at this. It wasn't just him for as I browsed through the store, many of the sales reps were talking to people and expressing the same sentiment. In fact, their somewhat pushy demeanor almost turned me off my purchase but, as I did not have a digital assistant, I decided to add HomePod to my Apple family of products. As for the ring residue problem? I purchased a 3-dollar mouse pad to place under the unit. I'm looking forward to unboxing HomePod and taking it for a spin, this weekend.
