Just Press Record, which is $4.99 is also a very good app. It tries to do transcriptions if you want. It saves to iCloud Drive or on your device. Like all recording apps that I know of, the length is dependent on how much room you have on your storage device.

This is a nice app for making recordings with multiple ways to share a recording including wifi download which lets you download your recordings if your phone is connected to the same wifi network as the computer that you're wanting to use. So I'll use this one if I want to keep a copy on my phone and recup if I just want to immediately send it straight to dropbox. I like irecorder because it will show the date and time that a recording was made. The native voice memos app only shows the date.
