Aira uses AT&T, regardless of who your cell phone provider is. For
example, someone could use the Verizon network as their carrier but
Aira would use AT&T for the data connection. It is possible then in
some areas to have no service with your carrier but still be able to
use Aira. An example of this is Quincy, Illinois, which is along the
Mississippi River. Verizon offers no service in Quincy but it is well
covered by AT&T.

It is super simple to switch services. Just get the SIM card of the
other MVNO and port in your number and see how things go. Give it a
try and you could always switch back to your other service. After
switching from T-Mobile to a T-Mobile MVNO, I have never looked back.
Now I am with a Verizon MVNO and love the experience and price even
more. T-Mobile has a dead zone in downtown Chicago that Verizon does
not have for example and I said goodbye to dropped calls around a
certain L station that I experienced on the T-Mobile network. It is
not a marriage. You can drop your new MVNO at any time, even if it is
just hours or days, and go to someone else.
