Hey Mark, I want a Home pod. Sounds great! But I have a question. What is Hap tic? I have seen this mentioned on my VR Trek as one of the forms of feedback and don't know what it is. Thanks much.

But,... at the collective price for all 3 devices, I'm inclined to think - I should think so! Ok, I know it's never that simple, so glad you found the combination to work that well. Have "Hay Siri" disabled on iPhone 8 Plus. 2. Have "Hay Siri" enabled on HomePod. 3. Have Apple Watch set to silent mode, providing hap tic feedback, only, on incoming text messages. SCENARIO: 1. Sitting in office, working on various projects. 2. Receive hap tic feedback on wrist, via Apple Watch, notifying me of a new SMS or iMessage. 3. Say, "Hay Siri, read message." 4. Siri identifies the sender, and then reads the contents of the message, at the conclusion of which she asks if I wish to reply." 5. I reply, "Yes." 6. She then asks me to dictate the reply, at the end of which she then reads the reply back to me. 7. She then asks, "Would you like to send it?" 8. I answer, "Yes." 9., The message is sent with virtually no disruption in my work flow. This is a beautiful scenario that plays out time-and-time again, throughout my day. Now I know that one can enable "Hay Siri", in iOS resulting in the potential for the same scenario but, to me, using HomePod makes far more sense as I don't like the power drain of 'Hay Siri" on my iOS devices when I forget to disable "Hay Siri" upon removing them from the A/C charger. HomePod, iPhone, and Apple Watch, an addicting scenario I can definitely live with, (smile). Mark -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
