I have the iPhone 8 and I too am having a problem closing out a video.  It 
started about a week ago with a previous update.  I spent a couple of hours 
with Apple Accessibility trying to resolve the issue with no luck.

There are no issues so don't contact youtube Because elsewhere when there would

I am using the latest update to the YouTube app. I am not having any 
problems with accessibility or closing videos. I am using an iPhone 7.
