Hello. I tested it under IOS 5.1.1, and it didn't work. So its
probably new in IOS 6.

It never made a sound though. I don't think it worked that way

Next, set the timer ticking down and start it.
Finally, double tap with 2 fingers. You will hear a double
defending tone. Double tap with 2 fingers again, and you will
here an ascending tone. What is happening is you are pausing and
unpausing the timer.
Really cool stuff I think.
IOS 6 may be lacking some real big features, but it seems to be
making up with little random nice things here and there.
