Actually, this is pretty much achievable in some respects. I have set the iOS Google app to listen for “ok, google”. With the app switcher completely cleared, if I use Siri to launch Google Assistant, I can say “ok, google” and then voiceover reads out “open mic button” and reads out a random web search result. But if I follow this up with the question I want to ask (e.g. “when is Easter this year?”, the answer is read out to me. It is easier, of course, to use Siri unless you are heavily into google apps... Harry
