Hello Marie. There are only two accessible battery solutions that I am
currently aware of. The first one is from the Harbolt company at:
It is a 15000 MA capacity battery made to be fully accessible for blind
people. It indicates status when you press a button it using beeps and
vibations. I've found this battery to be very reliable and welll worth its
$89 US price tag. It vibrates to tell you when you plug things into it
successfully and wen you plug it in to charge. When it's fully charged, it
vibrates for a long time until you unplug it. It comes with a USB cable
which you can use to charge devices or charge the battery but you need to
plug it into your computer or into a USB charging brick such as the one
which comes with your iPHONE. Also remember that you'll need a lightning
cable in order to charge your iPHONE or iPAD. The battery weighs 10 Oz so
it feels a little heavy in a pocket but can fit comfortably in one.

The other approach would be to get an external battery case like Apple
sells for its iPHONEs. These cases are fully intergrated with iOS and
report their status on the status bar of your iPHONE. The other advantage
is that you're unlikely to forget them since you have your iPHONE inside
them. The big drawbacks are that when you switch to another iPHONE, the
case might not fit the new model. Also, the only thing you can charge with
the case is the iPHONE itself. With the Harbolt accessible battery, you can
charge any USB device.

Hope that helps.
