Hi all,

As many of you will have heard, Apple today released a range of software
updates including one for the HomePod. I’m pleased to say that the update has
completely addressed the stability issues I was having when trying to AirPlay
content from radio apps such as TuneIn Radio on my iPhone to the HomePod.

When I first got the HomePod a few weeks ago, trying to do this was so unstable
that the audio would literally cut out every few seconds, making it basically
unusable. But since updating, these issues are completely gone aside from
occasional instances of stuttery audio for a couple seconds after unlocking the
phone.

If others have been seeing similar issues, this may be your lucky day. You can
update from the home app, but it'll typically be installed automatically unless
you’ve disabled automatic updates.

Cheers,

Grant Hardy
