Hello Rebecca,

The short answer to your question is, "Yes."

In order to accomplish this, however, you will have to access the Settings area 
of Twitter via a web browser.

Once there, navigate to the SMS area and disable Text Message alerts.

Now it's been a while since I've done this so you may want to Google the exact 
steps but, rest assured, that it can be done.

Hi all.  Is there a way to just get twitter push notifications and not get them 
in my messages app?  I end up getting two.  One in Twitter and another
