If you Google the model number it comes up as an LG gas dryer, the thing is positively huge and while it does say it's WiFi compatible the only thing about an app is this: Monitor your laundry remotely with an ingenious smartphone app. You can stop or check the status of your running wash anytime…anywhere.
Large smart appliances have been shown off at CES for years but they just don't seem to have caught on yet too much in the real world. I was also waiting for a while to see what would happen, but in the end I bought a Miele washer and dryer, expensive, but these are german-made appliances and the models I bought have buttons. There still are some options showing up on a display, but you can learn to push the right buttons and so on and in a pinch I find that the Seeing AI app in shrt text mode will read the display.
