Richard,

I'm using the enhanced version of iOS Samantha. I use it for pretty much 
everything on my phone. (Sidenote: I like Alex, but am not sure why there is so 
much enthusiasm there.) I just checked the keyboard again and it pronounces the 
word emoji normally.
