When I first double tap on the sign in button, or I think the app calls it a link, the username edit field is there right away for me just to do a double tap. Then, I am able to start entering my email address as my username. However, should I look around the screen a bit while I'm entering that information, I often find the edit box for it has disappeared. Sometimes, I'm even put back to the first screen I come to after opening the app, and I have to double tap on the sign in link again. This is what happened to me just a few minutes ago when I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and had to log in again for the first time.
