Ok I mean if I signed into an iCloud email address for icloud and mail but in the music app I’m signed into my gmail address. I’m not sure how to make this very clear.

I switched quite a few years ago when the @outlook.com addresses became available. I used to have [email protected] as my main email address but liked the sound of [email protected] better. Fortunately my first name is rare enough and I set it up fairly early on so that I got that address and it was extremely simple to make that new email address my Apple Id while keeping all my purchases.
