I believe there used to be a setting in the Amazon Prime Video app to turn on audio description but I've been through every setting and can't find one in the latest version of the app. You do need to have audio descriptions turned on under Settings, General, Accessibility and it is about fourth from the bottom of that screen which it sounds s if you already have this turned on. If you want to test audio description in the Prime Video app, the Bosch series has it in the first 3 seasons for sure and I'm assuming also in the 4th season just released.
If the audio description isn't working for you, I'd suggest contacting Amazon under the Contact Us setting in the Prime Video app or by calling Amazon Accessibility at 888-283-1678 or emailing them at [email protected].
