Though the guid isn't very accessable I have been useing the 15 channels it gives you under watch now which are channels you have watched recently and if I don't find anything to watch there I go to discover and to networks and choose a channel I like to see what is playing on that channel. It is just a work around for not useing the guide. Hope this helps any of you that have direct tv now. Would be happy to try to help anyone that may need help learning to navigate the new updated app.
