I'll remember that. A guy on another list said to go to Settings, General, Accessibilities, Voice Over, then to Audio and turn off ducking. I did, but haven't used the phone since I followed those instructions.

Unfortunately this is a problem that happens occasionally. The Apple techs are aware of it but no solution thus far. When it happens, press the home button quickly and it will turn it off.
