First of all I'm not hearing impaired so I might be wrong here.
The speaker volume and VO problem discussed here recently will only affect you
if you remove the phone from your ear so that the iPhone route the call to
speaker phone.
This is necessary to use the keypad etc while on a call but it's near to
impossible at the moment because VO is extremely low.
If I use my headset all is ok and I assume plugging in your hearing aides will
work similar?
But as I said I'm not hearing impaired so I'm not quite sure how hearing aides
work.
Please correct me if I'm wrong here.
That said I don't regret upgrading to iOS 6.

Subject: What happened to the speaker volume?

Because I use my iPhone with hearing aides as well, I am wondering if I should
wait until they put out another update with more bug fixes. I can’t afford to
upgrade this only to find I can’t hear it well enough to make it work. That is
already questionable in some environments for us.
