Most drop down menus work as they are supposed to now, with a picker item list appearing when you double tap that button. But try this if it doesn't. After double tapping the button and it doesn't work, quickly single tap near the lower right hand corner of the screen. If it works, The picker item list should appear. You want to single tap slightly above the very bottom of the corner. It is more or less where the music icon would be in the doc. If you miss it, you will have to double tap the button to attempt to start the process over again, then try it again. This is the work around I discovered in one of the updates several years ago when the drop down list button really had problems. I rarely have to use it now.
