Although I passed on the Prime Day deals for it, I did decide to get the 30-day trial of Kindle Unlimited. And subscribing to it does let one download the books available in that program directly to their device. I haven't yet decided whether to cancel my subscription before I'm charged for the next month, or keep it a while longer. Also, based on what has happened in prior years, Amazon may again offer a deal on the Kindle Unlimited around Black Friday. So I'll try to remember to watch around that time, assuming I'm still interested. ----- Original Message ----- From: Russ Kiehne <russ94...@gmail.com> To: viphone@googlegroups.com Date: Sunday, August 12, 2018 9:18 am Subject: Re: cannot buy Kindle books using the Amazon app
