Hello Paul, The accessibility of Kobo has deteriorated in the past couple of years, but I still manage to read books with it. Make sure the Transition style is None. Once the book is open, you can read a whole chapter by doing a two-finger swipe up. You have to give it time to digest the whole chapter before it starts reading. To turn a page, turn VoiceOver off then swipe left with one finger. To go to next chapter, turn VoiceOver off then swipe left with two fingers. I find I have to place the focus a little away from the end of the chapter for the two-finger gesture to work. This is not true for turning a page. Let me know if you need more help.
