I like the new way of deleting items in mail and music and messaging. However, it isn't implemented in the recents tab of the phone app. I'd like this feature to be there as well as it would make deleting phone call records much quicker.

I've tried it on my iPhone 4s, and find it much easier than tapping edit, or swiping to delete.
