Hi I cannot get my memories to open from the newsfeed page when they appear. So, I go directly to my home page for Facebook and tap on “On This day” to view my memories and you can open and share them from there easily. I want to mention that I am using an older version of facebook because it is easy to use and I have seen many questions regarding the updated version on this list. So I avoid updating if and when possible. My philosophy is, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. So I can only advise you to go to your home page whatever way you do it. In my version, I simply double tap on the “more” tab/button at the bottom of the screen and it takes me to my home page with a list of groups, friends, saved items, and on this day plus many more options to tap on. Hope this helps. If you can get to your home page, then find the tab for on this day.
