Hello list, My wife’s iPad and iPhone are under my Apple ID. She’s just logged into Facetime and iMessages with her ID and whatever other apps she uses, but the devices show up under my iCloud account as mine. This was simply how we did it when we first started using iPhones and whatnot before there was family sharing since I was the main purchaser of apps and so on. I’ve always done the backups on all the devices with my iTunes account and generally, it’s fine.
A question though, if we wanted to switch her i-devices out of my account and strictly Under hers, would it be as simple as logging out of the iPad and iPhone in iCloud and disassociating them from my account and then her just adding them to hers without having to worry about doing any sort of resets on them? Her ID is already part of our family sharing plan so there’s no real worry about her losing access to any paid content per say. It’s just one of those things we’d like to get better sorted out.
