Hello Everyone,
Does the VoiceOver gesture of 3-finger swipe down from top to bottom no
longer work? In iOS 11, this gesture would cause the screen to refresh
and
VoiceOver would announce this by saying something like, "refreshing app."
Now, try as I may, I cannot get this gesture to refresh anything on any
app.
Also, single-finger double-tapping the status line, located at the top of
the display, no longer consistently scrolls the display back to the top.
Sometimes it does, and sometimes, it does not.
Since updating to iOS 12, I have noticed that there appears to be some
kind
of screen refreshing problem when using certain app such as Over Drive.
For
example, in situations where additional data is supposed to be
automatically
updated to match what is currently selected, nothing happens. In order to
get the additional data, I now have to manually activate some kind of
control on the page in order to get the page to update/refresh with the
additional data. In the case of Over Drive, recommended books based on
the
current title in focus.
I have kind of noticed this behavior in certain aspects of the Twitter app
and also, I think, in one of my banking apps but I'm not certain as I have
only now begun paying attention to this issue.
Before I send a bug report to Apple, I want to confirm any or part of the
observations described above.
