First, if you are running iOS 6 check under settings, privacy, location services and make sure that Mapquest is set to on. If you are still in iOS5 I believe Location services was under General.
Then, when you open the app, there is a button in the upper left corner that says "center on current location." Double tap that, and it should find you. Then, you should be able to put in an address in your state, etc. Also, make sure you have updated Mapquest. The new one allows for saving favorites, more easily using your contacts etc. HTH, Richard -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Hope Paulos Sent: Wednesday, September 26, 2012 7:14 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Question about MapQuest Hello all. I've been trying to use MapQuest, with little success. Is there anyway to pinpoint a certain location? For instance, I'm in Maine, and I'm getting locations in Florida. I would preferred just to be able to search my state. Is this possible? Any hints people can give would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
