A couple things. The audio description is under settings, Accessibility I think. We have an Apple TV 3, but I have not used it for a long time since I can access Netflix on Xfinity. I do know you can pair a bluetooth keyboard with the Apple TV 3. I agree that entering anything with the remote is a royal pain. I cannot say how to determine what is new, other than what you do not recognize. HTH, Richard
