Hi Sieghard and others, I figured out my issue. Here is a run down, so that others can learn.
I have my iPhone set as IMAP and my Outlook set as POP3. What this will do, is that I can read and reply to mail on my iPhone all day, while my POP3 outlook is off at home. Then when I get home, I open Outlook on my PC and it will retrieve my mail from the server and delete it from my iPhone and from the server. The problem I was having was that I'd delete the mail message from the iPhone and it would still appear on the PC after downloading finished. Here is what I had to do. On my iPhone, I went to setting, then mail, then gmail, double tap the gmail account button, advanced; at the bottom. It brought up mail box behaviors. I double tapped on deleted mailbox (it said trash after it), Flicking right, it showed what I should do with it on the server, and I selected trash. So now if I'm away from home, I leave outlook closed, check my mail on my iPhone (deleting what I don't want). Then when I get home, I oupen outlook, and only the select messages I kept will be downloaded to my PC. Note: This will clear all mail from the iPhone.
