Apple now has 1.3 billion Apple IDs active in the past month. At this
point, Apple figures those who wanted a cheap or small phone have
gotten one so why engineer an updated SE. Further, Apple is
incrementally increasing the selling price of i Phones now that the
market is saturated. Also, the SE goes against Apple's conception of
itself. It has designed a single form factor that is the perfect
design for its users. big screens are overwhelmingly popular by
consumers so Apple has been pushed into the bigger screen design. the
biggest criticism of Tim Cook is his tendency to appeal to consumer
tastes rather than create the best design possible and make a
statement.
