As best I can reconstruct it, since did this recently: from the first message you want to copy, you use the rotor, and flick up two more, double tap, then I think you double tap on the message to select it, then go to the next one, hit more again, and select till all done, and then you roter to edit, flick up to copy, and double tap that.
