The app for Bank Of America seems to be operating much better with Voiceover.
WHAT I do now is to go into my account, go to alerts and do a double tap.
Then I go back to the previous screen and my transactions are available.
I am able then "sign out and the app no longer hangs.
When you are in alerts, History should be the default screen that you see.
Now this improvement may not be avaibable in all areas yet. But it should be
soon.
I think that a writing campaign has helped a lot.
