I have it set to delete after it’s played and as soon as I finish a Podcast it’s gone off my phone. If I “delete” an unplayed episode it just removes it from the list, but I agree with Richard that I don’t think it downloads a Podcast if you are streaming it, this wouldn’t be called streaming. Anyways, it would be easy to try this out, just start playing a relatively short episode from Applevis, stop it after 10 or so seconds and wait a bit longer, if it is just a 6 or 8 minute Quicktip Podcast it shouldn’t take more than 20 or 30 seconds to download, but I guess you could always wait a minute or two. Then put your iPhone in Airplane mode and try to play it, if it indeed downloaded it would play otherwise it won’t.
