Hello list,
I haven't been posting lately, but I have recently begun having difficulty with
office apps. I am new at using Office Mobile apps; I especially am having a
hard time with Excel. My knowledge of excel worksheet layouts helps me to know
that I can navigate by row and column by either swiping or exploring the screen
with one finger; however, upon researching the Office Accessibility help
section, it says that I should one-finger double tap the cell I want to work on
to select the cell, then double-tap with one finger again to open the on-screen
keyboard for editing. I can successfully edit one cell, but, when I move to
another cell, I one-finger double tap, it ts successfully, but when I
one-finger double tap again, it doesn't let me edit the cell, it stays in the
first cell, and I end up editing the text in the first cell, which was fine the
first way that I had it, and was not wanting to edit that cell again. Then, I
start to try to dictate, the dictation stops itself and kicks me completely
out of the app and to the home screen. I'm pretty unfamiliar with the mobile
app's layout, such as how to use the ribbons and other controls that are there.
I think I might need some training because of how unfamiliar I am. But, I
thought I'd get some help here first, from the very basics of navigating from
row to row, I'm ok at column navigation, but I don't see a rotor option for
rows, maybe I have missed it.
Anyway, short story of it is, I need major help understanding mobile excel. :)
By the way, I am using Office 365 and IOS 12.0.1. And, a very short unrelated
note, I am also having problems with my pc version freezing and not saving
data, and can't save a sheet to save my life. lol
