Hi Reggie, Sounds almost like something might be not working correctly on your Apple Watch 4, it is not supposed to be that sensitive, I think I heard somebody even said they wanted to demonstrate the fall detection, but just by deliverately falling it didn't go off because when you do that you don't fall as hard as you would in a real fall. I would call Apple about this and if you can reproduce this at will I'd take it to an Apple Store and get them to replace it.

Is there a way to make it less sensitive to SOS? Three times it has gone off and I have stopped it from calling, but last night I took it off my wrist and laid it down. I didn't slam it, but it went off and before I realized it had called 911. What can I do for this? Reggie and Lex God said, "I need somebody strong enough to pull sleds and find bombs, yet gentle enough to love babies and lead the blind. Somebody who will spend all day on a couch with a resting head and supportive eyes to lift the spirits of a broken heart." So God made a dog. -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
