Yes, the only thing filled in when yu add somebody from the Recent Calls list or the Messages app is the phone number, you still have to add first name, last name, company (if applicaple) and any other information you want to add such as address etc.

Good Morning Alan, The process to add someone to your contacts from a text message has slightly changed. The procedure is now as follows 1 – Open up the text conversation window 2 – Double tap on the phone number heading at the top of the screen. 3 – On the next screen swipe to the right a couple of times until focus is on the info button, and then double tap on that button 4 – On the next screen swipe to the right until you hear the phone number again and it is a button, then double tap on that button. 5 – That will open up the screen where you can add the person to your contacts.
