Even though you said you are not favorable to Overcast, I think it has probably the most shortcuts available. On top of being able to play the most current episode of any of the podcast you are subscribed too, you also have shortcuts for play, pause, rewinding, fast forwarding, plus many of the Overcast settings. I have tried many of the podcast apps out there over the years, and Overcast is my favorite and what I use now, but in the end, it is a personal preference.
