I have taptics turned on and volume at 100% and cannot feel a thing. I also noticed that when I mute and unmute the phone there is almost no vibration. Any more ideas? Thanks. This will show up as a small dot on the screen that you can actually set to utilize the home gesture, app switcher, Notification Center and control center.
