Hello, I also now have this up and running beautifully, thanks for the tip, I have noticed however, that voiceover is speaking the message as I dictate, but I think that there is a Hide or Show Preview button, but not sure where it is located. I am certainly enjoying the accuracy of this dictation, thanks.

The ike button is on the bottom left corner of the screen. You can hold the space bar when you first open the keyboard and talk. But you have to hit this ike button if you want to continue to dictate because holding the space bar wont work after the first dictation unless you do. And you have to be fast and don't pause when talking or it will stop your dictation. But it does type and dictations are really accurate unlike the stock keyboard. You may have experienced less than stellar results with IOS dictation, even so far as to experience dictating text, having it show up correctly when reviewing, and then when you look at the results, you get back something quite different than what you had originally dictated, and sometimes, dramatically different. I decided to download and install Google’s GBoard, and make it a third party keyboard, but only with partial success. Apparently, there is a button that you must activate called Hide Keyboard. I have only been able to find this button only one time. When you do this, you double tap and hold on the spacebar, and Google’s dictation will begin. Google’s dictation, at least for right now, is incredibly more accurate than the dictation in IOS, at least, this is what I have found, especially in the messages app. I was able to get perfect dictation results, but now that darn Hide Keyboard button has disappeared! I fully understand and appreciate that some may be experiencing no problems with dictation at all. So, I am wondering if anyone has tried installing and using GBoard, available for free in the app store, and what your experiences may have been.
