I agree with Wayne and have moved to Good Reads for tracking authors and any other book-related things I want to do with my iPhone. Good Reads is owned by Amazon so you have access to an extensive set of resources where books are concerned. You do need to set up your own Good Reads account but you can do so with either an existing Facebook or Amazon account if you don't want to set up a new one. Once you have the app downloaded and set up, you can search on your favorite authors by going to the Search bottomline menu button, double tapping, and typing the author's name in the search box at the top of the screen. A list of their published works will be returned and when you double tap on any one of these, you'll be taken to a more detailed page where the author's name will be near the top with a link which can be double tapped. A new author profile page will open and it contains a link near the top third of the screen which can be executed to Follow that author. Once you are following an author, Good Reads will email you notifications when they release a new book. I was notified today via email that Lee Child just released a new Jack Reacher book called Past Tense that I went to Audible and fetched. Good Reads seems very accessible and I didn't have any issues with it. It doesn't currently provide a way to go to a list of the authors you are following but I'm hoping that may be added with a future release.
