It is working fine here with an SE and iOS 12.1.
When you touch the table Index and it says swipe up or down, turn the rotor and
make sure it is on adjust value. It should default there, but perhaps it isn't
for some strange reason.

Richard

Subject: What to do to make Table Index work in contacts, please?

Table Index is not working on my SE now that I have 12.1. I have tried
everything I can think of, clicking on it, closing Contacts and trying again.
When it says swipe up or down with one finger and I do, if I swipe up, it goes
pop, and if I swipe down it goes to add. This is something I use and depend on
a lot, so the problem is most annoying. Does anyone have an idea for a
solution, please, and thanks in advance.

If you pray, don't worry; if you worry, don't pray,

Carolyn
