If it asks "Ellen" or "Ellen Fisher" try to say "the first one" Of course you can also tell SIRI that Ellen is your daughter and say "Text my daughter". I say "text my wife", "text my mother" or "text my brother" all the time.

I have never had this happen before, and I’ve had both Ellen’s in my contacts since last summer. My daughter is in my contacts as just Ellen, and that’s w who I meant. Usually Siri knows. (grin) If I go in and add daughter Ellen’s last name, will that solve this? It was almost funny, because I was real close to yelling at a computer.
