I just drag it around the screen to where I want it. The AT button as opposed to the apps gives you no indication or tone that drag and drop is enabled though. Just put your finger on it, maybe wait a second or two and slide your finger to where you want it and lift your finger once done.

IN my case, I have it between the second and third app in the dock. That way I can reach it without issues be it with my right or left hand. That's just me though. You can place it on the right edge of the phone, left edge, middle. Wherever you find it to be most comfortable to use.
